Experienced Endocrinologist

Samuel Contract Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Endocrinologist to provide high-quality medical care to patients in both an office-based and inpatient setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized medical care to patients with conditions affecting the endocrine system.
• Conduct thorough patient examinations and gather comprehensive medical histories.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as needed to assess patient health.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Effectively coordinate referrals to specialists and hospital programs when necessary.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all patient interactions and medical records.
• Collaborate with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding regulations.
• Promote community wellness and health education initiatives.
• Participate in on-call coverage for the practice and hospital, adhering to a 1 in 3 rotation schedule.
• Provide quality supervision and mentorship to residents, medical students, nurses, medical assistants, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinical staff.

Education/Licensing Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited medical school (MD or DO).
• Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program.
• Valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license or the ability to obtain one.
• Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate.
• Board certification in endocrinology (or Board eligibility for recent graduates).
