Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' complex social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between hospital and community-based services.
  • Provide psychotherapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to address a range of mental health concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in clinical social work, adhering to evidence-based guidelines and standards of care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification, verified by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners (LABSWE).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a medical social work field, with a focus on behavioral health.
