Behavioral Health Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our team at Highland Rivers Behavioral Health. As a Case Manager, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete weekly GRID updates and Continued Stay Criteria Docs sent to Utilization Management.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, crisis planning, and CONNECTS.
- Enter service orders upon admission of new residents.
- Transport individuals to program-related appointments as needed.
- Assist individuals in applying for vital records and food stamps.
- Submit referrals to appropriate services, including SOAR, Supported Employment, Case Management, and Medical Appointments.
- Assist individuals in applying for housing vouchers or permanent supportive housing when appropriate.
- Document three face-to-face and/or over-the-phone sessions daily in ECR, including complaints and results of assessments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed participant records.
- Complete all mandatory annual trainings.
- Establish professional and ethical relationships with individuals, families, and coworkers.
- Exhibit good communication skills, including oral, written, and active listening.
- Communicate suggestions and/or complaints through appropriate channels.
- Participate in weekly residential team meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Helping Field.
- At least one year's experience working in mental health or substance use disorder field preferred.
- Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen, and have a good 7-year motor vehicle report.
- Bilingual abilities a plus.
