We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Adventist Health. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a safe and healing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzes the assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment, and provides learning opportunities for patients, family members, and team members.
- Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care, delegates appropriately, and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Acute care facility experience is preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Healthstream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS) certification is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Healthstream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS) certification is required.
