HVAC Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking an innovative and self-directed HVAC-R Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Jamar Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC-R systems for both commercial and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC-R systems for commercial and industrial customers.
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of systems.
• Interpret work orders and perform work requested with limited direction.
• Enter and close work orders via the Service software platform.
• Operate a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations.
• Requisition repair parts and equipment.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Comply with Company policy and standards.

Requirements:

• Two-year HVAC technical school degree or four years associated experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC-R equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to assume responsibility within the scope of the role.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call as needed.
