Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School-Based Therapist to join our team at Lincoln Behavioral Services. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide individual and group therapy to children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, working closely with schools and families to promote positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapies, including individual, family, and group therapy, to promote emotional regulation, social skills, and academic success.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners to promote trust and engagement.
  • Participate in regular clinical team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and interventions.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field, incorporating new knowledge and skills into your practice.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • At least two years of experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.
  • Licensure with the State of Michigan (LARA) – LLMSW, LMSW, LLC, LPC, or LLP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapies and treatment modalities.
