Job Title: Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as an Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology at Northern State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in biology, including human anatomy and physiology, and gross anatomy.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach 12-15 credit hours per semester, depending on lecturer or professorial contract
  • Develop and implement curriculum for undergraduate courses in biology
  • Engage in research and service activities, as applicable
  • Support student recruitment and retention efforts
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Master's or PhD in Biology or closely related field (doctorate preferred or ABD)
  • Commitment to undergraduate education
  • Teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to conduct research in the candidate's area of expertise, as applicable
