Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner - Geriatric Care Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in a geriatric setting.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications as ordered by physicians and according to facility policies.
  • Lead and guide nursing assistants and orderlies in providing patient care.
  • Assist physicians with rounds and physical examinations as needed.
  • Drape and care for patients during medical procedures.
  • Perform treatments scheduled during shift and document appropriately.
  • Adhere to infection control measures and maintain a clean environment.
  • Assist with research related to quality of care and provide input on improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to supervise nursing assistants and make decisions regarding patient care.
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to work well with others.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
