Pharmacist District Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a critical member of our pharmacy team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and service.
Job OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for leading by example, demonstrating genuine empathy, and motivating your team to achieve specified goals. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, ensure medication safety, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, applying evidence-based knowledge to optimize patient outcomes.
- Regulatory Requirements: Maintain accurate records, adhere to regulatory standards, and ensure ongoing education on relevant laws and regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and offering support.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop your team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining accurate records.
- Financial Profitability: Contribute to financial growth, managing resources effectively, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the security of sensitive information and protecting company assets.
- Workflow Management: Streamline processes, improving efficiency and productivity throughout the pharmacy.
- A valid Pharmacy License in the state where employed.
- No DEA Excluded Parties List designation.
- Current immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- No pending felony charges or convictions related to controlled substances.
- A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
