About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Hayward, CA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing daily repairs and upkeep of our property, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
