Kolosso Toyota is seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Service Consultant to join our team. As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers and technicians, and ensuring that our customers have a great overall experience in our service department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school degree or equivalent, and possess excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work well in a team setting. They will also have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, stay organized, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, competitive paid time off, and 401K matching.

The responsibilities of an Automotive Service Consultant include greeting customers, writing up repair orders, communicating effectively via the telephone, coordinating customer's alternate transportation, and scheduling service appointments. They will also be responsible for performing vehicle walk arounds, documenting customer concerns, and communicating with technicians to ensure that the customer's vehicle is properly diagnosed and serviced.

As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will be required to have a good driver's license, a driving record that meets our insurance standards, and the ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including background and drug tests. You will also be required to have computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting customers and writing up repair orders
  • Communicating effectively via the telephone
  • Coordinating customer's alternate transportation
  • Scheduling service appointments
  • Performing vehicle walk arounds and documenting customer concerns
  • Communicating with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and service
  • Documenting declines for services and asking for follow-up on future service considerations
  • Following up with customers
  • Cashiering
  • Keeping customers informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changes
  • Communicating and coordinating with other service writers
  • Remaining involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns can be addressed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of high school degree or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
