Job Summary

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in the CT department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilizing them as needed
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required
  • Monitor patients during scans and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT)
  • 2+ years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Working Conditions

The CT Technologist will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The ability to lift and move patients as needed is also required.
