Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our talented team of engineers and designers. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in the development of in-house server motherboards, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure the robust design of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for schematics capture, layout checking, BOM creation, debugging, and testing of server board/add-on card products
  • Modify and enhance existing designs to improve the quality of server motherboards
  • Collaborate with engineering and other teams to identify and resolve engineering issues in early stages to ensure the quality and performance of our products
  • Prepare technical documentation, including product specifications, layout instructions, and test procedures
  • Ensure products meet engineering specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations
  • Transfer products to manufacturing with clear documentation and provide technical support to resolve product issues
  • Provide clear documentation and technical support to contract manufacturers and production teams during product sample and production stages
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers in the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; Master's degree is strongly desirable
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with x86 server boards is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of circuit design (digital, analog, power) and PCB layout
  • Prior experience with motherboard design in enterprise networking servers is strongly desired
  • Strong communication, written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving capability
  • Self-motivated, team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
