Your Role
As an Infection Control - Employee Health Nurse / RN, you will be responsible for implementing effective infection control practices across our hospitals, consulting with physicians and staff, and directing the Employee Health program.
You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement hospital-wide infection control programs in accordance with CDC and JCAHO regulations
- Consult with physicians, managers, and staff to manage infectious and/or immune-suppressed patients
- Direct all functions of the Employee Health program
- Maintain accurate records and reports of infection control activities
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a healthcare-related field
- A Master's degree in a clinical specialty is preferred
- Equivalent experience may substitute for education requirements
- A current State RN license is required
- ICP or related certification is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year clinical experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing
- Experience in Infection Control with knowledge of epidemiology and infection practices is preferred
- Experience in employee health is preferred
Estimated Salary: $98,000 - $118,000 per year
This salary range is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
