Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Paralegal to join our team in Colorado. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act, Colorado Workers' Compensation Rules of Procedure, and Office of Administrative Court timelines and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Manage task lists, calendars, and case lists with a proficient understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Prepare summaries of discovery, medical records, claim files, and depositions.
  • Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Prepare hearing exhibits, DIME packets, and IME packets.
  • Schedule hearings and docket court-mandated deadlines.
  • Schedule independent medical evaluations, division IMEs, depositions, Samms' conferences, and demand appointments.
  • Produce high-quality work product.
