Job Title: WIC Nutrition Specialist CPA-RD

Community Clinic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled WIC Nutrition Specialist CPA-RD to join our team. As a key member of our nutrition services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nutrition care to our clients.

Job Summary:

The WIC Nutrition Specialist CPA-RD will be responsible for conducting nutrition care appointments, prescribing standard and non-standard food packages, and providing input in the development of education activities. You will also assist with the delivery of WIC services at our clinic site, ensuring the provision of high-quality, cost-efficient, and culturally sensitive services that comply with all Federal, State, and Local agency policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutrition care appointments and follow-ups at designated sites.
  • Prescribe standard and non-standard food packages, specialty formulas, and obtain anthropometric measurements.
  • Provide input in the development of education activities, including staff trainings, curriculum development, and other related activities.
  • Assist with the delivery of WIC services at our clinic site, ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local agency policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Registered and Licensed Dietitian.
  • Bachelor's degree in public health nutrition, dietetics, or food and nutrition.
  • Spanish fluency preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Proper and professional grooming is always expected.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, or working at a desk on a computer.
  • The ability to lift (up to 15lbs) is required.
  • Work under stressful conditions within a controlled enclosed environment daily.
