About the Role

Ciena Healthcare Management, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests, associates, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily, adhering to facility procedures and schedules.
  • Guest Respect: Respect guests' privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal items, knocking before entering guest rooms and bathrooms.
  • Environmental Services: Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors according to department procedures and schedules.
  • Supply Management: Ensure housekeeping supplies are stored out of reach of guests and disposed of properly.
  • Waste Disposal: Dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Safety Protocols: Post signs indicating safety hazards when housekeeping activities pose environmental hazards.
  • Laundry Assistance: Assist with laundry as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a housekeeper preferred.
