Overview

As a Registered Dietitian at American Senior Communities, you will play a vital role in enhancing the health and quality of life for our residents through assessment of nutritional status and collaboration with healthcare professionals to develop individualized plans of care.

Salary and Benefits

We offer top competitive market wages with alternative schedules available after 90 days. Benefits may include medical, vision & dental insurance, paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan options, and more. Estimated annual salary is $62,000 - $80,000 based on experience and location.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to assess residents' current needs for nutrition services and those at risk. You will interview residents, family members, and significant others to gather information needed to develop individualized plans of care. You will work cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams and conduct regular meal observations to ensure residents receive adequate nutrition.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have current dietitian registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration and certification/license in the state(s) where you practice. A licensed position or better is preferred.
