Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL A Driver to join our team at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials to and from our facilities, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Comply with all statutory, regulatory requirements, and company policies while operating a commercial vehicle.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and forms, including manifest, shipping and receiving documents.
  • Maintain all required certifications, including DOT and OSHA certifications, and participate in company safety programs.
  • Load and unload finished goods and raw ingredients, securing loads during transit.
  • Operate a truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons, transporting materials to and from specified destinations.
  • Distribute receipts for loads picked up and collect payment for goods delivered and delivery charges.
  • Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with supervisors to receive delivery instructions.
  • Assist customers with the offloading process and position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and other employees.
Requirements
  • Current/Active CDL Class A License
  • Minimum two years of experience as a CDL A Driver
  • Must pass Driver's Testing and DOT Physical (M.E.C.) / Drug Testing (DOT)
  • Must be proficient in the English language and possess basic math skills to understand product weight and truck limits.
