Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Family Services Specialist II, Foster Care Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct services to individuals and families in the foster care system.

About the Role:

  • Develop treatment plans that identify problems, clinical methods for dealing with them, and the means by which services will be provided.
  • Represent the agency in civil and criminal court proceedings.
  • Provide direct intervention and service delivery for complex social work cases.
  • Conduct field visits to residential facilities and consult with therapists and residential staff.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates and ensure payment for services.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or a Bachelor's degree in any field with at least two years of experience in a Human Services area.
  • A working knowledge of social work principles and practices, human behavior and motivational theory, laws, policies, and regulations relating to human services program areas, and social, economic, and health problems.
  • Skill in operating a motor vehicle and personal computer with associated software.
