Position Overview:
The primary function of the Service Technician is to execute assigned fieldwork requests by diagnosing operational issues and performing necessary repairs.

Areas of Expertise:
Experience is required in the following product categories:
- Garage doors
- Fireplaces
- Punch-out services

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily fieldwork orders as assigned by the Installed Sales Supervisor.
- Prioritize job-site visits based on urgency and customer requirements.
- Assess the cause and cost of repairs.
- Identify the responsible party for invoicing repairs.
- Communicate with the Installed Sales Supervisor regarding parts needed for warranty work.
- Ensure quality compliance throughout the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and warehouse space.
- Adhere to company operational and safety policies.
- Keep tools and vehicles in a professional condition.
- Exhibit professional conduct in public interactions.
- Assist in training personnel on equipment and quality standards.
- Serve as a backup for routine equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with the Installed Sales Supervisor to ensure proper inventory and equipment management.
- Recommend quality and production enhancements to the Installed Sales Supervisor.
- Maintain the flow of fieldwork orders and complete necessary paperwork.
- Oversee assigned tasks as directed by the Installed Sales Supervisor.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to four hours).
- Physical strength to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 100 lbs, with frequent lifting of 50 lbs.
- Capability to exert 50 lbs. of force to move objects.

Work Environment:
- Indoor work in controlled temperatures.
- Outdoor work in varying temperatures for extended periods.

Licensing Requirements:
- Class F Driver's License
- Insurability for driving.
