Job Title: Medical Laboratory Specialist

About the Role:
In this role, you will work as a team or independently with other phlebotomists and clinical support staff to ensure patients are processed in a timely manner and according to the organization's protocol and procedures. You will verify patient identity and ensure all orders match the lab orders from EMR before the procedure begins. Your goal will be to provide excellent customer service and monitor patients before, during, and after the procedure for safety and prevention of fainting.

Responsibilities:
- Work efficiently to collect blood samples from patients
- Verify patient information and lab orders
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification required
- Laboratory specimen handling and processing experience required
