The Hotel Effie Sandestin Autograph Collection is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for creating menus that are creative, inspiring, and delicious, breathing fresh new life into beloved Southern cuisine.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to create and implement menus across all outlets, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Food Production: Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation, presentation, and plating, to ensure that every dish meets our brand standards.
- Team Management: Direct and train all chefs to ensure adequate operation in all outlets, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they meet their responsibilities.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control food and labor costs, while maximizing guest satisfaction and ensuring that we meet our revenue targets.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food products and presentation meet our brand standards, and that we maintain high levels of quality and consistency across all outlets.
- Guest Service: Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, and ensure that every guest has a positive experience.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that we comply with all local health department sanitation laws and regulations, and that we maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Culinary Degree: A 2-year, 3-year, or 4-year culinary degree is required, along with at least 5 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
- Supervisory Experience: Previous supervisor responsibility is required, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Knowledge and Skills: Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations, and be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
