Pet Groomer

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team at Woof Gang Bakery and Grooming. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry clients.

• Ensure the facility is clean and sanitized at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our pets.
• Groom animals using various techniques, taking into account their breed, coat type, and owner instructions.
• Bathe and dry animals, perform pedicures, and clean ears, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for our pets.
• Perform general maintenance of the grooming room, including cleaning cages, tubs, and grooming tables, vacuuming and mopping floors, emptying trash, and cleaning clipper blades, scissors, and brushes after each use.
• Recommend retail products that can aid in home grooming care and the overall well-being of pets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of grooming experience.
• At least one year of pet grooming experience.
• Familiarity with standard cuts for all breeds, including the latest industry trends, and the use of various tools of the trade.
• Experience in hand scissoring techniques preferred.
• Able to demonstrate dog and cat handling skills.
• Upbeat personality with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
