Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Jeter Therapy Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating patients with various disorders, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical history, condition, and needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their specific goals and tasks.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on how to help care for and accommodate them, including the use of adaptive equipment and exercises to improve daily living skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess patients' progress against their goals and prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance agencies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
  • Licensure: Occupational Therapy License (preferred)
Work Environment:

This is a full-time, part-time, PRN, or contract position with a flexible schedule. The work setting is outpatient, and the work location is multiple locations.

We offer a competitive salary of $50.00 per hour, as well as a range of benefits, including continuing education credits, dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
