Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Therapy Partners Group. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and assisting them into physical therapy apparel.
  • Perform laundry and maintain an ample supply of clean linens.
  • Record daily notes under the direct supervision of a physical therapist.
  • Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests.
  • Assist in treating patients by applying ice or heat packs, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, and tracking walking time and distance.
  • Educate patients on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Provide equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to the treatment area.
  • Ensure the operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock and anticipating needed supplies.
  • Enhance the physical therapy department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a well-thought-out and easily understood manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening and problem-solving skills.
