Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and address Volcker-related challenges and discrepancies by collaborating with trading desks, legal teams, finance, and risk management.
- Support the production, evaluation, and dissemination of metrics for internal use and regulatory compliance.
- Deliver consistent updates and status reports to management.
- Engage in monthly assessments of Volcker metrics and reporting with relevant desks.
- Oversee the coordination of regulatory narratives, ensuring that commentary is crafted, revised, and approved by senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of pertinent experience in a front office or operational support role, or in a consulting or project management capacity with similar responsibilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial market products across various asset classes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across trading desks, product control, legal, and technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive approach with the capability to manage tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of the Volcker Rule.
- Commitment to meeting monthly and quarterly deadlines for specific tasks.
