We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in prioritizing medication orders and ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in prioritizing medication orders and determining daily department needs
- Perform medication order functions, including order interpretation, preparation, and quality assurance
- Provide exceptional customer service and respect to patients, customers, and healthcare providers
- Work closely with pharmacists to ensure accurate and timely medication distribution
- Provide direction and guidance to other technicians and pharmacy interns during their training
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Attain professional growth by attending or participating in a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education annually
- Prior retail or hospital outpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification required within 6 months of hire
- Active Pharmacy Technician Certification or Provisional Certification required
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $18.00 - $27.68 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision options, spending accounts, retirement account options, tuition reimbursement, and student loan forgiveness.
