A leading non-profit services organization in New York seeks a highly skilled Senior Healthcare Professional to join their Residential Housing Programs in Rockland County.

About the Opportunity
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Work Hours: 9am to 5pm

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to adult individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with residential staff to deliver individualized, quality medical care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
  2. Ensure the medical and health requirements of residents are consistently met and documented.
  3. Maintain effective communication with the Residential Management team and staff to ensure seamless coordination of care.
  4. Foster a culture of compliance with OPWDD regulations and guidelines.
  5. Perform additional duties as required to support the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in healthcare settings.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a strong background in healthcare provision.
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent documentation skills.
  • Patient-focused approach with solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities is highly desirable.

An estimated salary range for this role is between $85,000 to $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The Tandym Group offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
