Job Summary

Mary's Center is seeking a highly skilled Grants Accounting Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Grants and Contracts department, you will be responsible for managing grant-related accounting projects and tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Agreement Management: Ensure timely and accurate management of grant agreements, including agreement and general ledger management.
  • Grants Administration: Oversee grants administration, including invoice review, budget data entries, and assigning of Grant Activity Code in Sage.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and reconciliations, including budget versus actual management and account analysis.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare weekly updates and reconciliation on customer aging for analysis with the Director of Grants and Contracts, and ensure compliance with grantor requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the General Ledger team and Grant Accountants on reconciliation reviews, codes/updates, and corrects information/transactions in the Accounting system.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Associate degree in accounting/finance or equivalent with two (2) years of related experience.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively use Sage Intacct, Microsoft Windows; Proficient in Excel, Accounting Software, preferably Sage Intacct.
  • Language: Ability to communicate effectively in English is required. Additional language proficiency or fluency preferred.
Work Environment

Mary's Center is a dynamic and inclusive organization. This role will be based in a typical office and/or home setting with quiet to moderate noise level. Opportunity to work a hybrid schedule - remotely & onsite, as needed.
