About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Duluth Trading Company. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing product knowledge, and maintaining a well-merchandised store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Duluth Trading Company brand and product offerings.
  • Provide solution-oriented, friendly service to customers, including answering questions, making recommendations, and processing transactions.
  • Maintain a well-merchandised store environment, including stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and ensuring visual displays are appealing and effective.
  • Assist with receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise, as well as maintaining inventory levels.
  • Ensure Company standards for cleanliness and organization are met, including the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
  • Accurately and efficiently process all register transactions, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, and practices, including those related to customer service, sales, and inventory management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Retail experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day, with frequent reaching, bending, and twisting.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, and push/pull up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from degrees, especially in stock room areas.
  • Ability to use a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.
