Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our team at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. As a Certified Medication Technician, you will be responsible for administering daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer daily medication to residents in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Monitor residents and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Collect and record medication administration as required.
Requirements
  • Certified in the state of practice, required.
  • Successful completion of State Approved and Certified Medication Technician/Aide Nurse Aide Training and Competency evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as Certified Medication Technician/Aide in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
