Role Summary: We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate to enhance our professional team. The ideal candidate will support clients in navigating their tax strategy and compliance requirements. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and evaluate tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
  • Review tax documents for individuals, trusts, estates, S corporations, partnerships, and state filings completed by our tax experts.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax legislation and regulations.
  • Assist clients in their tax strategy and compliance efforts.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evolving tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation, planning, and handling trust and small business returns.
  • In-depth understanding of tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
