Housekeeping Responsibilities

The primary objective is to uphold a high standard of cleanliness in designated areas to foster a hygienic working environment.

Key Duties Include:

  • Reporting to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for work assignments.
  • Executing daily cleaning tasks as per HHS training guidelines in assigned zones.
  • Documenting completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Inspecting the assigned area at the start of each shift.
  • Responding promptly to Housekeeping requests.
  • Completing additional tasks as directed by the department leadership.

Floor Technician Responsibilities

The goal is to ensure superior cleaning quality in designated areas, maintaining a pristine working environment.

Key Duties Include:

  • Reporting to the Environmental Services Director for scheduling.
  • Performing daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting tasks in accordance with HHS training protocols.
  • Documenting completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Responding to Housekeeping requests.
  • Conducting floor stripping and extraction projects.
  • Completing additional tasks as directed by the department leadership.

Job Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

  • Lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
  • Stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout the shift.
  • Handle and interact with various cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Work weekends, holidays, and varied hours as required.
  • Communicate effectively in English.
