About the Position:
The George Mason University Department of Biology is seeking a dynamic and innovative Professor of Ecology to teach introductory and upper-level ecology courses and coordinate the multi-section ecology course for Biology majors.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate level courses and laboratories and provide academic advising to students.
Required Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant discipline by July 15, 2024;
- Commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate instruction;
- Excellence in teaching;
- Ability to collaborate with faculty and graduate students.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven record of teaching excellence;
- Experience in a university setting;
- Experience coordinating graduate teaching assistants.
