We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at New Hope Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cedar Park, Texas. As a full-time RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents and their families.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the total nursing activities during each worked shift, ensuring the comprehensive care plan is followed to meet the resident's needs according to generally accepted nursing practices of the State of Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Provide total nursing care of residents in your assigned unit
  • Recognize significant changes in the condition of residents and take necessary action
  • Have working knowledge of all residents under your care
  • Supervise nursing assistants and ensure all assignments are completed appropriately
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders
  • Ensure accurate, daily charting on pertinent charts
  • Be aware of legal and ethical implications of your duty
  • Be courteous to residents and their families and respond in an appropriate professional manner
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must be a graduate of a state-approved school of vocational or professional nursing, have successfully completed State Board of Registration or licensure, and carry a current state license as a vocational or registered nurse.
