Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant: A Competitive Opportunity

Overview

As an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, you will play a vital role in our mission by providing consultation and prevention services to early learning centers, parents, and children.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children (0-8). A license in LSW, LPC, MFT, OCPSA, OCPSS, or OCPC is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Provide programmatic, classroom, and individual prevention/consultation services to early learning centers, parents, and children.
  • Conduct observations and strengths/needs assessments.
  • Collaborate with Child Focus Early Learning Centers to address at-risk/challenging behaviors and safety planning.
  • Educate parents about infant and early childhood mental health and facilitate access to community mental health resources and treatment services.
