Join Our Team as a Tax Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns with precision and attention to detail
  • Calculate tax extensions or estimate payments to ensure timely compliance
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers to provide expert guidance and support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting with a strong foundation in tax principles
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state where your office is located
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing tax work
