About the Role

We are seeking skilled maintenance engineers/assembly candidates to join our team in Waterville, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling thermal processing equipment, such as heat treating furnaces and large generators, using hand and power tools.

Additional responsibilities include potentially painting and reading bills of materials to retrieve parts. While print reading training will be provided, prior experience with blueprints is preferred. Candidates will also learn to cut and thread piping and use various machines such as sheer machines, pipe threaders, band saws, and tack welders. Tack welding training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble machinery ranging in size from a table to a house
  • Use hand and power tools to mount motors, valves, shafts, elevators, and more
  • Read bills of materials to retrieve parts
  • Potentially perform painting tasks
  • Learn and perform print reading
  • Cut and thread piping
  • Use machines such as sheer machines, pipe threaders, band saws, and tack welders
  • Perform tack welding after training
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with mechanical assembly, welding, pipe threading, and blueprint reading. Proficiency in using hand and power tools is essential, as well as the ability to read blueprints and tape measures. Mechanical inclination through work experience is also highly valued.

Familiarity with print reading from various contexts such as construction or furniture building is a plus, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits and Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 per hour. Benefits may include medical, dental & vision, life insurance, health advocacy, and employee assistance programs. A 401(k) plan is also available.

This is a fully onsite position in Waterville, OH, with work hours from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Potential overtime (40-50 hours a week) is possible.
