Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex tax engagements, including planning, consulting, and compliance services.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on tax strategy, technical expertise, and industry experience.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals, including mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Drive growth and profitability of the tax practice through new business development and cross-selling.
  • Interact directly with clients, handling questions, planning, consulting, and other client-related activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or EA certification.
  • 8 or more years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry.
  • Experience with C-Corps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Proven record of simultaneously managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients.
  • Project management and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to generate new business and extend service opportunities.
  • Fluency in French, German, Japanese, or Mandarin.
