Job Summary

Sodexo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to lead our Clinical Nutrition team at Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, Ohio. As a Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will be responsible for managing the clinical nutrition and patient services program, supervising a team of dietitians and room service employees, and advocating for the expansion and promotion of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the clinical nutrition and patient services program within Geauga Medical Center
  • Supervise a team of entry-level and experienced dietitians, and room service employees
  • Advocate to expand and promote the role of Clinical Nutrition throughout the facility
  • Collaborate with the implementation and management of Sodexo's meal service program and menu management system
  • Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
  • Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
Requirements
  • Registered Dietitian with a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience and 1 year lead or management experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and make decisions while working within a team-oriented work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to make every day a better day for our clients and patients
  • Possession of a Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
