The Ripon Unified School District is dedicated to providing a high-quality education for all students. Our district is committed to maintaining small class sizes at all grade levels and has a well-coordinated and articulated program from kindergarten through high school.
We have a strong sense of community and a shared goal of supporting our students. Our district is made up of five elementary schools, one high school, and one continuation high school.
Our SchoolsWe serve approximately 2,288 elementary students in grades TK through 8, divided between the five elementary schools. Our two high schools have a combined enrollment of approximately 1,067 students in grades 9 through 12.
Our StaffWe have a team of 150+ certificated staff members, including teachers and itinerants who provide regular classroom instruction and special services. Our support staff includes 200+ employees, including aides, bilingual liaisons, secretaries, custodians, and yard duties. Our leadership team consists of 18 administrators.
Job SummaryThe coach is responsible for all aspects of the sport and team they are coaching. This includes developing athletic skills, game knowledge, and strategy, as well as proper conditioning. The coach is also responsible for the proper administration of the sport.
RequirementsPrevious coaching experience is preferred. The coach must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain any necessary coaching requirements. Coaches are paid a one-time flat stipend per year/season.
