IT Systems Development Expert Wanted

Halvik, a forward-thinking company, seeks a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as a Senior Mainframe Developer. In this critical role, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of systems in a mainframe environment.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this position is $160,000 - $220,000 per year, reflecting the importance of your skills and experience in delivering high-quality IT solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Mainframe Developer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing Z/OS applications using IBM COBOL, DB2, CICS Transaction Server, and Z/OS operating system.
  • Crafting new system modules in CICS Transaction Server and batch environments.
  • Solving complex problems independently in a Z/OS environment.
  • Debugging programs and job streams in diverse hardware/operating system configurations.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mainframe development, preferably in a similar environment to ATRRS in terms of size and complexity.
  • Extensive knowledge of Z/OS application development, including Internet application development experience.
  • Expertise in IBM COBOL, DB2 (including stored procedures), CICS Transaction Server, and Z/OS operating system.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
