Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent CTRail

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to lead our CTRail team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our rail rolling stock fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of rail rolling stock
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize fleet availability
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other operational functions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and fleet performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in rail maintenance and operations, with a focus on commuter rail
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
