About Us:

We believe in guiding children's social and emotional development and fostering a sense of wonder about the world around them. Our classrooms are designed to provoke curiosity and encourage inquiry, and our Teachers and support staff make ChildRoots truly outstanding.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary care for 4-10 children, working 8 hours per day, Monday – Friday
  • Establish a strong, consistent bond between child and caregiver
  • Commit to a cohort of children for a year or more
  • Participate in our co-teaching model, sharing teaching responsibilities with colleagues

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting wage of $19.50/hour
  • Standardized annual raises
  • Long-term commitment bonuses
  • 1-3 weeks of Paid Time Off per year, depending on length of service
  • 25 paid holidays and all-school days off
  • Company-provided continuing education

Requirements:

  • Teacher-qualified
  • Currently enrolled in Oregon's Central Background Registry
  • Completion of required online trainings within 30 days of hire
