Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Buyer to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate inventory levels and costs to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste
  • Maintain organized records and files to ensure easy access to information
  • Process invoices and reconcile shipping reports to ensure accuracy
  • Conduct inventory audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Notify management of low stock levels and coordinate replenishment
  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports
  • Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy
  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries
  • Refuse acceptance of damaged or unacceptable items
  • Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee return process
  • Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures
  • Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
  • Related work experience in supply chain or procurement
  • Knowledge of inventory management software and systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
