Certification Requirements
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (Mandatory as applicable by specialty.)
  • State License Verification: Primary Source verification upon hire as applicable by Profession. Only valid compact licenses or permanent licenses will be accepted.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required Annually for all Nursing Staff, including RN's, LPN's, and LVN's. Must be updated prior to start if it expires within 60 days of start date.
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Required Annually for all Nursing Staff, including RN's, LPN's, and LVN's. Must be updated prior to start if it expires within 60 days of start date.
Position Details
  • Experience: 12 MONTHS OF EPIC EXPERIENCE IN THE LAST YEAR IS REQUIRED.
  • Time Off: MUST HAVE 5 DAYS OR LESS OF RTO TO BE CONSIDERED.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years (if consecutive, that needs to be listed).
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4.
  • Float Requirement: Yes.
  • Documentation: Electronic Documentation via EPIC.
  • First-Time Travelers: Yes.
Job Requirements
  • Required Skills: ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Education & Training: Relevant qualifications as per specialty.
Additional Information
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required as applicable by specialty. AHA Required. RQI Acceptable. Must be updated prior to start if expiring within 60 days of start date.)
  • BLS: Basic Life Support (Required as applicable by specialty. AHA Required. RQI Acceptable. Must be updated prior to start if expiring within 60 days of start date.)
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Required as applicable by specialty. AHA, ARC, Military acceptable).
  • HIPAA Compliance: Safety Manual Acknowledgement (Required Annually).
  • Testing: Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) during the first day of orientation.
  • Competency Exam: Must complete exams prior to start and update annually.
