Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Coordination of Care: Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure seamless coordination of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership skills by directing and guiding other nursing personnel, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Communication and Education: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and promote patient education and empowerment.
- Quality and Safety: Utilize analytical skills to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of State Bureau of Occupational and Professional Affairs.
- Experience: Varies based on department and position.
- Certifications: Certified in B.L.S. - C.P.R.
