A rural community hospital in northern Maine is seeking a Hospitalist to collaborate with healthcare professionals and optimize patient outcomes.
With over 400 employees, this hospital is the largest employer in the area.
Key details of the opportunity include:
- 7 on/7 off block schedule
- 12-hour shifts from 7 am-7 pm
- Average daily census of 14
- Daily admits of 1-4
- All admissions through the Emergency Department
The Hospitalist will work with:
- Four intermediate care beds (no ICU)
- Medical/Surgical
- Observation
- Swing and Days Waiting Placement
Key technology and support include:
- Meditech Expanse EMR
- Strong nursing and support staff
Requirements for the position include:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified IM or FM with hospitalist experience
The hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving a population of 17,000 people.
