An Amenity Center Day Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and light upkeep of outdoor recreational facilities. We seek an individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys being outdoors. Reliable transportation is essential, and while a pickup truck is preferred, it is not mandatory. A clean driving record and active auto insurance are required.

This is a part-time position with early morning shifts starting by 7:00 AM. Each shift will last between 3 to 6 hours, with a work schedule that includes Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays, totaling approximately 20 hours per week. Reimbursement for drive time and mileage will be provided.

Position Overview

As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Office Pride, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include upholding our high cleanliness standards, which are crucial for creating a welcoming atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in their work, demonstrating a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to ensure a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked and maintained.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and public spaces.
  • Keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, notifying the supervisor when replenishment is necessary.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure and hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory. We value a positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques, as well as safe usage of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
Job Specifics:
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, starting around 6:00 PM for a total of 10-12 hours per week.
  • Pay rate: $14/hour.
  • Paid Weekly.
  • Location: Tampa Bay Area.
  • Additional hours may be available.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour, with reimbursement for drive time and mileage.
